Airport Parking

Parking at Durham Tees Valley could not be easier. There are no bus transfers to the terminal as with larger airports - The main car park is right in front of the terminal building, and it is normal to get a spot with less than a two minute walk into the terminal.

We strongly recommend that you pre-book your parking. This way, you can avoid the stress of finding a full car when you are about to set off on your trip, and you can also make significant savings over turning up on the day.

There is a designated area of disabled parking bays immediately adjacent to the main terminal building.

The Durham Tees Valley Airport car park has high security fencing. The car park is well lit and is under 24 hour CCTV surveillance.

Getting to Durham Tees Valley (Teesside Airport)

Getting to and from Durham Tees Valley Airport is easy.

The airport is served well by public transportation with an especially good and uncongested road network around it. It is also close to the major hub of Darlington Railway station just 6 miles away.

The airport is close to the village of Middleton St George, just off the A67. The A67 connects the A19 near Kirklevington with the A66 close to Darlington.

By Rail

There is a small airport station, however trains are infrequent. Although Durham Tees Valley airport is just 6 miles from the major railway station at Darlington, and a free shuttle runs from the terminal for passengers with a valid rail ticket. By Bus or Coach

There are bus stops outside the terminal building. Buses operate to nearby towns and villages and are operated by Arriva.
